Robert Redmond is PRO for ShopAthy. Robert Redmond has worked as a professional photographer for thirty years. He is a Licentiate ship member of the IPPA and the author of Images of Ireland - Athy Town and Achill Voices.

Kenneth Walshe is the Vice-Chairman of the ShopAthy committee since May of 2009,

Kenneth runs two successful businesses in Athy, the first was opened in early 2008, Walshe I.T Services and the second Trend Supplies was Opened in late 2008.

In 2009 Kenneth Walshe of Walshe I.T services brokered a number of large deals with other high end computer companies and is now overseeing many of their projects. As well as the previous achievements Trend Supplies have been accepted on to the national stage in secure content management software in January of 2009, and has had an unprecedented success in the Anti-Virus Wholesale market.

Kenneth is currently working on a large project which will revolutionise the way in which your data, is securely backed up remotely.

Tracy Tierney has been living in Athy since 2004. In 2005 she set up her own business - Athy Payroll Bureau Ltd and was based in The Enterprise Centre, providing payroll and bookkeeping services to any sized company. In October 2009, due to a need for more space, Athy Payroll Bureau relocated to The Orchard Building, 26/27 Duke Street. Tracy is ShopAthy's treasurer.

Tara Redmond is a member of the ShopAthy committee since the start and she is the daughter of PRO Robert Redmond.

Tara is in business on her own since 2006 when at the age of 23 she opened the well known Zebbles hair salon on Convent Lane. She is a graduate of the David Marshall School of hairdressing in Dublin.
The Zebbles salon is well known in Athy for Colour and Cutting expertise and using exclusive products to complement the salon.

Lorna Mullins - After studying Interior Architecture and Interior Design in college Lorna decided she did not want a career in this area of design and decided to do a course in Visual Merchandising & Window Dressing in the Dublin Institute of Design. After completing two courses in VM Lorna started freelance work and went on to gain an award for best dressed window for Essence Boutique from the Athy Chamber of Commerce in 2009. Lorna has now gone back to full time education after achieving a place in the three year BA in Visual Merchandising in DIT Mountjoy Square. Lorna is doing freelance work part time and all her details are in the Business Directory under “Window Dressing”.

hairaffaire@gmail.com. Jo has just recently refurbished her salon and was awarded the 5 star status by the good salon guide which is the only independent hair dressing and beauty adjudicator. The 5 star status is the highest status to be achieved. Last year Jo received two salon awards from the golden scissors competition one for best salon and one for best stylist. Jo is a member of the Irish Hair Dressers Federation (IHF) executive committee which deal with all the ongoing issues in the hair industry through Ireland and Europe.
