ShopAthy Open the Wet Paint Gallery in time for the Triathy weekend
One of ShopAthy’s projects this year as well was to identify the owners of the vacant premises and to put displays into them.Local Artists are exhibiting at the new Shopathy Gallery in the Former Leinster Arms Hotel, a project that was organised in 24 hours by the ShopAthy committee. The public were also treated to a second glance at the Signs of Life Exhibition of Photography by local Photographer Robert Redmond to help promote Irish Sign Language. Irish Sign Language is used by over 60,000 people in Ireland but is not recognised by the Irish Government unlike our neighbours across the water.
